About the Journal

Critical Humanistic Social Theory (CHST) is a journal that publishes papers specifically using quantitative or qualitative research methods for social science research. The journal encourages scholars to conduct social science theory research from the perspective of social critical theory and emphasizes research concerned with issues or methods that cut across traditional disciplinary lines.
