2025 Interdisciplinary Symposium on the Sustainable Development Goals (ISSDGs) (Auckland)

2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Hosted by the University of Auckland, which serves as the UN Academic Impact Hub for SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), this symposium provides an international, interdisciplinary platform for scholars, students, and professionals to explore sustainability challenges and share innovative solutions. Participants from New Zealand, China, and other countries are encouraged to collaborate across disciplines, including environmental science, computer science, social work, policy studies, economics, and education.
Call for PapersWe invite submissions in two formats:
- Abstract (150–350 words): for oral presentation only (no proceedings required)
- Full paper (up to 3000 words): for those interested in post-conference publication

- Accepted papers may be published in Advances in Management and Intelligent Technologies.
- If over 20 papers are accepted, conference proceedings will be indexed in Google Scholar and CNKI.
- Top 1–2 papers may be recommended for fast-track review by:
- Journal of Organizational and End User Computing (SSCI)
- International Journal of Information Technologies and Systems Approach (EI)
- Best Paper Award
- Best Student Presentation Award
- All presenters, reviewers, and volunteers will receive e-certificates
- Opening keynote address
- Three morning parallel sessions

There is no registration fee. Presenters who submit abstracts or papers will automatically be registered. Attendees from New Zealand are welcome to join in person, while international participants can attend via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Observers (non-presenters) may email the organisers to request access.
All participants who attend the full programme will receive a digital certificate of participation.
