Abstract

Against a backdrop of increasing volatility in global supply chains and intensifying competition in emerging markets, Transsion Holdings, as a representative enterprise of China’s manufacturing sector expanding overseas, has faced pressure from declining performance in recent years.Taking Transsion Holdings as a case study, this paper employs the Balanced Scorecard to systematically evaluate the performance of its internationalisation strategy across four dimensions: financial, customer, internal processes, and learning and growth. The research reveals structural imbalances across these four dimensions, with the financial dimension under significant pressure whilst the learning and growth dimension continues to receive investment, reflecting the typical challenges encountered during the lag in strategic implementation for internationalised enterprises. This paper aims to provide methodological guidance for the performance evaluation of corporate internationalisation strategies.
